What to expect

Booking a consultation is the first step towards understanding your nutrition and developing a plan that's tailored to you.

Every consultation is personalised, evidence-based and designed around your individual goals.

There are no standard meal plans or one-size-fits-all recommendations.

Instead, we'll take the time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle and priorities before developing practical strategies that work for you.

Clinical Offerings

Initial consultation

Your first appointment lasts approximately 45-60 minutes.

During the consultation we'll discuss:

  • Your current symptoms and concerns

  • Your medical history

  • Any investigations or diagnoses

  • Your usual eating pattern

  • Current medications and supplements

  • Lifestyle factors

  • Your goals and priorities

This allows me to build a complete picture before making personalised recommendations.

Follow up support

Nutrition rarely changes after one conversation.

Follow-up appointments allow us to:

  • Review progress

  • Adapt recommendations

  • Answer new questions

  • Build confidence

  • Support long-term behaviour change

The number of appointments varies from person to person.

Some people only need one or two consultations, while others prefer ongoing support.

Foundation programme

A structured package designed for people looking for more in-depth support over time, rather than one-off advice.

This approach allows us to identify patterns, implement changes gradually and adapt support as your symptoms and needs evolve.

Includes:

  • Initial consultation

  • Three follow-up appointments

  • Email support between sessions

  • An evolving personalised plan tailored to your symptoms, lifestyle and goals

Online Consultations

All appointments are delivered online, allowing you to access specialist dietetic support wherever you live in the UK.

Many people find online consultations more convenient, particularly if digestive symptoms make travelling difficult.  All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection.

Before Your Appointment

Before we meet, you'll be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your health and nutrition.

This helps us make the most of our time together and ensures your consultation is focused on the issues that matter most to you.

After Your Consultation

Following your appointment you'll receive:

  • A personalised nutrition plan

  • Practical recommendations tailored to your goals

  • Resources where appropriate

  • Clear next steps

If follow-up appointments would be beneficial, we'll discuss this together.
